As the visionary and founder of the Raven Institute, she sees connected hearts, minds, and hands in a united and thriving nation - contributing to the development of humans, teams, organizational systems and community with relational ways of knowing and being.
With the launch of Iskwew Air, Teara's entrepreneurial spirit takes her into a new arena as the first Indigenous woman to launch an airline in Canada.
Teara Fraser holds a Master of Arts in Leadership degree from Royal Roads University, and she is a Certified Executive Coach. Teara completed the Aboriginal Focusing-Oriented Therapy and Complex Trauma certificate and the Conflict Resolution certificate program offered at JIBC.
The journey of learning now takes her back to Royal Roads University as Associate Faculty in the Master of Arts in Leadership program and to Fielding University, where she is studying in the Human Development Ph.D. program. As a scholarly learner, as a researcher, and as faculty, Teara understands her responsibility to bring a relational lens and a decolonizing and Indigenous worldview approach to her work.
