KAD Education

Kojo Damptey is an interdisciplinary educator and facilitator; his area of interest is social justice with a focus on leadership theory, race, racialization, racism, African Studies and African governance. He approaches these disciplines from an anti-oppressive framework with a foundation in Afro-centric Indigenous traditions and culture. He also uses performing arts, specifically music, to address world phenomena discourses relating to cultural imperialism, marginalization and neo-colonialism.

As a Pan-Africanist and Freirean, his work involves participatory community organizing alongside activist initiatives that lead to communal change in his temporary home Hamilton, Canada and his permanent home Accra, Ghana.
